The Most Peculiar and Lamentable Tragedy of the Girl in Red

Taking part in the Royal Drama Comp for the very first time, the ACDC’s directors and cast toyed with many scripts before finally deciding to devise their first original play. With only two days left before the competition. Imagined by the directors and the cast members as a mash up of Snow White, Little Red Riding Hood, Coca Cola commercials and Batman, the play took the 25th Royal Drama Comp by storm.

Thoroughly enjoyed by the audience and judges alike, The Most Peculiar and Lamentable Tragedy of the Girl in Red emerged 1st  Runners Up. Maneesha Uduwana won the award for the Most Memorable Performance for his portrayal of the Dwarf, Laddu Masala.
